LinedUp NYC ("the App") is a paid iOS application that provides estimated wait times for popular Manhattan venues. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
LinedUp collects minimal data. When you use the "I'm in line" feature, we collect an anonymous timestamp and venue selection — no personal information, no account, no login required. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any other personally identifiable information.
LinedUp does not access or collect your device location. All venue information is pre-set within the app.
LinedUp does not use third-party analytics services, advertising SDKs, or tracking tools. We do not track you across apps or websites. We do not serve ads.
We do not sell, share, rent, or trade any user data with third parties. Period.
The App uses the Google Places API to retrieve venue busyness data. These requests are made from our servers and do not expose your personal information to Google. The App contains links to Instagram for viewing geotagged posts — tapping these links opens Instagram in your browser or app, subject to Instagram's own privacy policy.
Any anonymous usage data (such as "I'm in line" reports) is stored on secure servers and retained only as long as necessary to provide accurate wait time estimates. No personal data is stored because no personal data is collected.
LinedUp does not knowingly collect any data from children under 13. The App does not require an account or any personal information to use.
If we update this privacy policy, we will post the revised version on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
